The Department of Film and Television at Boston University’s College of Communication is seeking a Professor of The Practice in the area of Producing for Television, Film and New Media. An advanced degree and teaching experience at the university level is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate significant professional experience and achievement producing programming for the entertainment industry.

Duties require teaching three courses per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level. Course examples: Creative Producing I & II ( unscripted, scripted), Line Producing.

Applicants should submit a resume or CV, the names and contact information for three references, and a letter that includes a personal statement on teaching philosophy.  Applicants may also send representative samples of professional work.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS, since they will not be returned.

This is a non-tenure track position. Deadline for applications is October 1, 2019.
